Mayfield coach Cami Martin has had to mix and match her lineup all season thanks to injuries and other issues that come along during a prep volleyball season.
The Cubs are in third place and trail Poly by 1.5 games in the Prep League standings .
If they keep winning, Mayfield will get the No. 3 seed from the Prep League.
Mayfield did just that on Tuesday, as they swept Chadwick, 25-18, 25-15 and 25-23.
Annie Evans and Colleen Henderson had 7 kills apiece for the Cubs.
Olivia Smith finished with 6 kills and both Catie Sanchez and Maddie Reed added 5 kills.
Jessie Doty and Morgan Brandmeyer led the Dolphins with 9 kills apiece.
Prep League Standings: Through October 4:
Westridge (14-1 overall, 6-0 in league)
Poly (15-3, 6-1)
Mayfield (4-6, 4-2)
Flintridge Prep (9-3, 4-3)
