It seems like the same old story.
Marshall battles their butts off, but they end up falling in the end.
Such was the case on Friday.
Arroyo earned a 25-19, 17-25, 25-23 and 25-13 Mission Valley League victory.
Samantha James was solid as always.
The senior finished with 18 kills and 6 digs.
Aileen Lopez added 25 assists and 8 digs.
Risejah Velasco chipped in 5 kills and 12 digs.
Middle blocker Allison Moore had 5 blocks and 3 kills.
Libero Claire Moats added 7 digs, and opposite hitter Kendall Morton finished with 7 digs.
Marshall will travel to Mountain View on Tuesday at 3:15 to close out the season.
