La Salle began the season 6-0, including a San Marino Tournament championship.
The Burroughs Tournament, this week, though, had been a rough go.
La Salle dropped three straight to Alemany, Hart and Moorpark.
That all changed on Friday, and thanks to their star guard, Julia Macabuhay.
The La Salle senior scores 33 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and had 8 steals in a 52-48 victory over Cleveland in overtime.
Brianna Antillon had 9 and Natalie Rodriguez chipped in 4 points.
La Salle will finish off Burroughs Tournament play against Leuzinger at 6 in the ‘small gym.’
In another gym, Pasadena will face Burroughs in the championship game.
