Madison Manning had a big night in Flintridge Prep’s Prep League opener at Westridge on Monday.
Manning’s game-high 21 points was four more than Westridge’s two top scorers combined.
Prep earned the 56-35 road victory over the Tigers.
Alex Kyriakakis led Prep with 10 points, Sofia Gonzalez had 8 and Andie Kim added 6 points for the Rebels. Ali Fujimoto finished with 5.
Keira Myles led Westridge with 9 points and Isabelle Peng added 8.
Ashley Wei finished with 6 points for Westridge.
Prep will travel to South Pasadena on Friday at 5 in a nonleague contest.
Westridge will host Rio Hondo Prep tonight (Tuesday) in another Prep League showdown for the Tigers.
