If Flintridge Prep’s 15-point lead at the break wasn’t the moment the Rebels realized they had Sierra of Fresno down and out, they certainly knew it was over when they held a 28-point advantage after three quarters of play.

Prep defeated the Chieftains, 62-45, in a nonleague contest on Wednesday evening.

The Rebels were incredibly balanced, which included four players in double figures scoring.

Sofia Gonzalez led the way with 17 and Kaitlyn Chen added 15 points.

Andie Kim finished with 11 points and Alex Kyriakakis had 10.

Hannah Gilreath led the Sierra offensive charge with a game-high 19 points.

Prep will travel to Temple City (8-1) tonight (Thursday) at 5 in a nonleague game.
