The writing was on the wall early in Wednesday’s first round of the La Canada Tournament.
The Spartans took a 16-point lead into their locker room at the break.
And it wouldn’t get any closer, as La Canada defeated their neighbor, Flintridge Prep, 62-35.
Prep’s Sofia Gonzalez led all scorers with 14, while Kaitlyn Chen had 10 and Madison Manning finished with 9 points.
Tess Oakley-Stillson led La Canada with 11 points and Lauren Scoville had 10 points.
Prep will face Artesia at 7 on Thursday at La Canada High School.
