Marantha has relied on sophomore Patil Yaacoubian offensively over the last year-plus.
And so far, so good.
But on Friday, despite scoring a game-high 21 for the Minutemen, Yaacoubian got some big time help from Cherise Masuda and Emily Jordan.
Masuda scored 20 points, and Jordan had 19.
MHS cruised by Oceanside in San Diego, 66-31, on Friday.
Ana Boyajian, Mikayla Murphy and Mireille Minassian had one bucket apiece for the Minutemen.
Maranatha improved to 8-7.
MHS will finish off tournament play and 2017 with a Saturday afternoon game with Scottsdale Christian Academy from Arizona.
The Eagles are 10-2 and are coming off a 40-23 victory over Valhalla.
