If La Salle wanted a chance at the Del Rey League championship, they needed to hold serve against St. Anthony on Tuesday, which they did, 7-0, and then the real challenge is on Tuesday when the Lancers host first-place Bishop Amat at 5.
As of Tuesday, Jan. 23, La Salle is just one-game back of Amat.
La Salle got 4 goals from freshman Celine Akroush today and shut out St. Anthony, 7-0.
Croix Soto, another Lancers’ stud had a pair of goals for La Salle.
Alexander Quijano also had a goal for La Salle.
Kate Mena had 3 saves in goal.
As mentioned above, La Salle won’t play again until next Tuesday when they host Bishop Amat.
Amat is 8-6-2 overall, and 3-1 in league.
