Many people wondered how Muir would bounce back from Friday’s 19-point defeat at the hands of their arch rivals.
Would it still have left a sour taste in their mouth or would the Mustangs be the title contenders we all know they are?
It was the latter of the two.
Muir got 27 points and 6 rebounds from Tasson Aubry to pace the Mustangs.
They earned a 79-73 victory and season sweep over Glendale.
Muir and Pasadena remain tied atop the Pacific League as both area powers sit at 7-1.
Tiyon Martin finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
Haleem Jenkins also had 14 points, as well as 4 assists, 3 steals and a block.
Joseph Dollaway contributed 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist.
Their guy, Hunter Woods, was just 1 point from a triple-double on Tuesday.
Woods added 9 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals.
Ethan Fleming contributed 2 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Muir will travel out to Burbank on Friday evening and take on Burroughs at 7.
