Accomplishment(s): Mariah Cathcart, who teams with her sister, Nia, and the rest of the Bulldogs had a week that put them right back in the Pacific League title chase. Cathcart scored 16 points and had 8 assists to lead the Bulldogs to a 65-59 victory at previously undefeated (in league) Crescenta Valley on Tuesday. But it was her 6-of-6 effort from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter that sealed the deal and pulled PHS to within one-game of the Falcons. Three nights later, Cathcart outscored the entire Arcadia team in the first half, 18-15, and the Bulldogs cruised to a 54-41 victory. PHS has 5 remaining games to try and catch CV, but more importantly, they want to be playing their best basketball as the playoffs begin.
