From STAFF REPORTS

Pasadena is going to need some help to win a Pacific League title, or at least a share of the crown.

The Bulldogs have to hope either Arcadia or Burroughs knocks off Crescenta Valley and then PHS will still need to win out the rest of the way as they trail the Falcons by one game.

But it looks like, and this is more importantly, that Coach Jett del Mundo’s program will be entering the CIF-SS playoffs on a high note if their trend continues.

Pasadena got 18 points from both Mariah Cathcart and Kamesha Moore and the Bulldogs defeated Burbank, 54-44, on Senior Night.

Cathcart also had 5 rebounds and 5 steals and Moore added 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Nia Cathcart had 8 points and 4 steals and Tatianna Ayala finished with 8 points and 3 rebonds.

PHS will travel to take on the cellar dwellers from Hoover (1-18, 0-10) on Wednesday at 5.

Records:
Pasadena (18-7, 8-2); Burbank (9-15, 4-6)
