La Salle is one step closer to a Santa Fe League championship.
The Lancers improved to 6-0 in league play with Thursday’s 60-23 victory at St. Bernard.
Julia Macabuhay led the way, scoring 29 points in just three quarters of play.
She also dished out 9 assists, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 4 steals.
Alyssa Arroyo, one of the Lancers’ co-captain finished with 11 points.
Nicole Ortiz added 8 points and Crystal Ramirez had 7.
Zarah Huo contributed 3 points and Brianna Antillon had 2.
La Salle finishes out their regular season with a pair of home games next week.
The Lancers will host St. Pius next Wednesday at 7, and then battle second-place Mary Star on Friday at 7.
Barring a huge upset on Wednesday against St. Pius, the Lancers will wrap up the outright Santa Fe League championship, and even before they take on the Stars (15-7, 5-2).
La Salle dominated St. Pius by 40 in their first match up back on January 18.
