Devyn Netz is already in midseason form.
The Maranatha sophomore threw a one-hit, 6-0, shutout of Poly on Tuesday afternoon.
Netz allowed just one hit, walked one batter and struck out 13 Panthers.
She also had a double and drove in a pair of runs for MHS.
Miranda Lopez had a bunt single, stole two bases and drove in a run for the Minutemen.
Poly will travel to Westridge today (Wednesday) at 3:30.
Maranatha won’t play until next Tuesday when they host Pasadena at 3:30.
