You want a sign it’s going to be your day?
As La Salle did Thursday, it’s when all nine starters collect at least one hit and six of the nine drive in at least two runs.
That’s what La Salle got in their 16-3, mercy-rule victory over visiting Keppel.
Jackie Castro went 3 for 4, including a double, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Sophia Sansone (2 for 3) homered, scored three runs and drove in two.
Grace Fosselman had two hits, two runs and two RBIs, and Natalia Rodriguez went 2 for 3 with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs.
Alyssa Arroyo drove in two runs on one hit and she scored once.
Izabella Ortega went all five innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits.
Ortega walked three and struck out two to pick up the victory in the circle.
She also helped her own cause with one hit and a run scored.
Mary Costa, from the nine spot, singled, scored and drove in a run.
Kat Yuzefpolsky added one hit, scored once and drove in a pair of runs for the Lancers.
Last but not least, Samantha Dilluvio collected one hit and scored one on Thursday.
La Salle will open Del Rey League play Tuesday at St. Monica at 3:15.
