Chris Stamos continues to pitch like an ace for St. Francis, but the Golden Knights offense garnered just one first-inning run for the senior lefty on Monday.
Stamos has just a 1.24 ERA and allowed three runs on four hits in the 3-1 loss at Oaks Christian.
He walked a pair of batters and struck out two.
Aaron Treloar was the offense Monday.
After Christian Muro singled in the first inning, Treloar doubled Muro home for the 1-0 lead.
Treloar went 2 for 3 with the RBI and both Mikey and Doyle Kane had base hits for St. Francis.
Oaks Christian got even in the bottom of the first and then scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to outlast the Golden Knights.
Hayden Byrnes also collected a base hit for SF.
St. Francis will continue the St. Paul Tournament Wednesday (weather permitting) afternoon when they take on Damien (1-5) in La Verne at 3:15.
