FSHA rallied for four seventh-inning runs in Tuesday’s 9-8 victory over Marymount, and is the type of gut check that the Tologs hope serves the program well and with confidence going foward.
FSHA had four players with at least two hits each and three with two RBIs.
Karrie Nishiyama’s two-out, seventh-inning RBI forced extra frames for the Tologs.
Amesie Noll’s walk-off single in the ninth inning that scored Alli Lombardo capped the comeback for FSHA.
Courtney Rasic went the first six innings and she surrendered 8 runs (four earned) on seven hits.
Alli Lombardo got the win after going the final three scoreless innings and striking out a pair of Marymount batters.
Payton Tomkins doubled, homered and drove in three runs.
Lombardo helped her own cause with two singles, a double and a pair of RBIs.
Rasic singled twice and rove in a pair of runs.
Amanda Ramirez and Alyssa Cole both had two hits apiece for the Tologs.
Mika Jefferies went 2 for 4 with one run scored and the Marymount sophomore drove in three runs.
FSHA will face Pacheco on Thursday in a tournament game (weather allowing) at 5.
