Matt Loomis had arguably his best outing of the season Tuesday.
The Panthers’ senior threw a 3-hit shutout, walked one and struck out four to lead Poly to a 6-0 victory in Prep League action.
The victory improves the Panthers to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in league.
Sean Evans didn’t have a hit, but the senior drove in a pair of runs for Poly.
Sean McTigue and Franco Alonso both doubled and had RBIs.
Cameron McFarlane also collected a double and he scored three times on Tuesday.
Poly will travel to Palos Verdes Peninsula to take on Chadwick (weather permitting) Thursday at 3:45 to close out their two-game series with the Dolphins.
