Accomplishment(s): After a very slow start to the 2018 season for Flintridge Prep, the Rebels got their first victory on Wednesday. Prep defeated Firebaugh, 12-5, which also served as their first Prep League victory as well. Penn, a multi-sport star at the school, went 2 for 4 and she drove in four runs in the victory. Her teammates, Emma Stellar also had two hits and Kate Huntley struck out eight batters in the circle. Prep won’t play again until April 9, when they make up a rained out game with Mayfield, and two days later, the Rebels will host Chadwick in another Prep League contest.
