After a 7-1 start to the 2018 season, La Salle got off quicker than any area program.

The Daley brothers had seen enough and did something about that on Thursday.

The senior right hander walked none and struck out a batter in the 13-0, mercy-rule victory over Wilson of Hacienda Heights.

Jeff Daley improved to 4-2 and did so on 30 pitches.

His brother, Mark, a sophomore, went 2 for 3 with a double, scored twice and drove in three runs.

Johnathan Wong added three hits in as many at-bats, scoring twice and finished with a pair of RBIs.

Luke Heiberg went 2 for 3 with a pair of runs scored and one RBI.

Henry Kavanaugh finished the five-inning contest 3 for 3.

Kavanaugh drove in one run and scored twice.

Greg Pavon was called up from the JV squad, and the sophomore threw a scoreless fifth inning to close out the wildcats.

La Salle will close out their time in the Don Lugo Tournament Friday at 9 a.m.

The Lancers will face Diamond Bar (9-7) at Don Lugo High School.

Box Score:
Wilson: 0-0-0-0-0-(0)
