La Salle was able to manage just two hits in Tuesday’s 13-3, five-inning defeat at St. Joseph in Lakewood.
It wasn’t all bad news, though.
Collette Allen and Danielle Kurkdijian’s base hits for the Lancers were both home runs.
Allen’s was a two-run shot.
But the rest was all St. Joseph.
The Jesters out-hit the Lancers, 9-2, and Andrea Maushardt and Adriana Natividad teamed up in the circle to shut down La Salle.
Allen was saddled with the loss after allowing 13 runs, but only six were earned on nine hits over 4 2/3 innings.
The Lancers defense continues to struggle with seven more errors on Tuesday.
La Salle will travel to St. Monica on Thursday at 3:15 in another Del Rey League battle.
