It might have taken Poly a few innings to exploit their advantage at the plate, but the Panthers had 18 hits and 16 runs before it was all said and done.
Poly earned the 16-4 Prep League victory at Westridge in a six-inning game on Wednesday.
Megan Kelleher led the way, going 4 for 4, with a double, three runs scored and she drove in four runs.
Vivian Wheeler added four hits in five at-bats, with a pair of doubles, four runs scored and an RBI.
Brennah Bronk, who also won her third game of the year in the circle, went 2 for 3 with a double, a walk, she was hit by a pitch, and drove in two runs.
Rory Xanders was 2 for 4, including a run and an RBI.
Sarah Chin collected two hits, two runs and an RBI.
Kate Huntsman added an RBI, Tara Adarkar was 1 for 4 with a run score and an RBI, and Ali Ulin doubled and scored.
Madelena Ruedaflores and Ella Cornwell each had one hit for the Panthers.
Bronk went the distance, allowing three earned runs on five hits.
She walked two and struck out seven Westridge batters.
Westridge will travel to Flintridge Prep today (Thursday) at 4 in a Prep League contest and Poly has a Friday road game with La Salle at 3:30.
