Accomplishment(s): Blessinger had a hand in a two-game sweep of Whittier Christian in Olympic League play this week. In Tuesday’s 10-0 road victory, Blessinger doubled and scored and then three days later, the junior shined on both the mound and at the plate. He went 2 for 4 with a double, two stolen bases, one run scored and a pair of RBIs. But Blessinger wasn’t done there. He also earned the victory on the mound by going the first four innings and allowing one earned run on two hits and striking out three. Maranatha is 6-0 and alone atop the Olympic League standings.
