Maranatha pitching has not allowed a run in the last 14 innings, and over the past four games, the Minutemen have surrendered just one run in 24 innings of baseball.

Over a 24-hour period, the Minutemen beat Heritage Christian 10-0 in an Olympic League game, and then MHS shut out Bosco Tech, 18-0, in a nonleague contest.

On Wednesday, JP Caire teamed with Ben Guess and Jack Goodman on a three-hit shutout.

Maranatha pounded out 14 hits, which included 10 different players collecting at least one, and four had two hits each.

Caire went the first three innings, allowing two hits and striking out a pair of Bosco Tech batters.

Ben Guess and Jack Goodman went one inning each and both had one strikeout on the hill.

Nick Iverson, Jacob Moreno, Sal Tabullo and Dawson Netz had two hits each.

Netz doubled and drove in three runs.

Tabullo homered and had a game-high six RBIs.

Moreno went 2 for 2 with three runs scored and Iverson was 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Marco Martinez was 1 for 2 with two runs scored and a pair of RBIs.

Dante Campione double and drove in two runs.

Max Blessinger got just two at-bats, but the MHS leadoff batter scored twice and had one base hit.

Maranatha will travel to Heritage Christian Thursday at 2, and with the hopes of improving their Olympic League record to 7-0.
