Flintridge Prep won its fifth straight game Friday, four of which were important Prep League contests.
This time, the Rebels had 13 hits in the 13-3 victory at Rio Hondo Prep.
Melissa Grande and Emma Stellar, Prep’s No. 2 and No. 3 hitters combined to go 7 for 10.
Stellar had four hits, including a double, a home run and four RBIs.
Grande finished 3 for 5 with four RBIs and two runs.
Kate Huntley went 2 for 4 and scored twice and also picked up the win in the circle.
Huntley allowed three runs on six hits over her seven innings.
She walked one and struck out three Kares’ batters.
Natalie Dale added two hits, an RBI and three runs scored from the leadoff spot.
Prep will host first-place Mayfield on Tuesday at 3:30.
