If there’s one person that can keep pace with Maranatha baseball pitcher Dawson Netz’ dominance, it’s his sister Devyn.
Dawson is in the middle of a 48-inning scoreless streak on the mound, and his sister is dominating on the softball field for the Minutemen.
Devyn earned an 8-1 victory in the circle at Heritage Christian on Thursday.
Netz allowed two hits and an unearned run.
She didn’t walk a batter and struck out 10.
Netz also singled and homered.
Gracie Rose added two singles and Priscilla McAllister singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Miranda Lopez had a single and RBI and Ally Granados added two singles, a double and two RBIs.
Claire Sheffer singled and drove in two runs.
Maranatha will host Valley Christian on Tuesday at 3:30 in another Olympic League game.
