From STAFF REPORTS

Will Dalgarn added 11 kills, and 15 digs.
Anton Aritz finished with 5 kills and 4 blocks.
And Brandon King had 20 digs on Thursday.
La Salle will host Providence of Burbank (19-5) on Saturday afternoon at 3 in the quarterfinal match up.
The Pioneers swept Santa Ana Valley in their Thursday night, second-round contest.
Quotable:
La Salle coach Tiare Tuitama: “It’s not always in your favor when you have a long bus ride or an away game. It took us a few points in the beginning of the match to get going. Once we woke up, the boys were on a roll. We played a very good team that put up a great fight, it could have gone 3 or 5 games. As a unit, all 16 boys helped contribute to our win, whether they were on the court or on the sideline cheering or calling out plays. I’ve got a great group of young men who keep showing up day in and day out. I’m happy that their dedication to each other and this program is starting to show. What I am most proud of is not the win, but how we competed. We showed up tonight, and that’s all a coach can ask for.”
Records: Laguna Blanca (8-10); La Salle (23-6)
