Just 24 hours after handing Providence its first loss of the season, Flintridge Prep was back on the court for another nonleague contest.
The Rebels hosted San Marino and won the first two sets, so things look great.
But the Titans, to their credit, rallied to tie the match at two games apiece.
Prep though, displayed their mettle with a two-point advantage in the fifth and deciding game to claim victory.
The Rebels won by scores of 25-22, 25-20, 14-25, 18-25 and 15-13.
Courtney Johnson led the way with 17 kills.
Jada Gritton added 10 kills.
Ellen Chang led Prep with 26 digs and 3 aces.
FP will host Maranatha tonight (Thursday) at 6.
