For Maranatha, the struggles continue, but the Minutemen also, without fail, show their heart in battle.
Immaculate Heart earned a sweep Thursday in a nonleague match.
They did so by scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 25-22.
Joelle Battles led MHS with 7 kills.
Krista Powell added 6 kills.
Lauren Ramirez contributed a team-high 20 digs.
And Bella Media paced the Minutemen with 14 assists.
Maranatha will travel to Village Christian on Wednesday at 6:15 in an Olympic League battle.
