Nicole Gibbs has had a big week in a pair of big Prep League victories for Westridge.
And Friday’s 5-set thriller over Flintridge Prep was no different.
Gibbs had 29 kills, 12 digs and 3 aces.
Westridge rode her back for the 25-12, 19-25, 25-21, 19-25 and 15-10 victory.
Krystal Raymundo added 15 kills, 7 digs and 4 aces for the Tigers.
Jada Gritton led the Prep offense with 18 kills.
Courney Johnson wasn’t far behind, and she chipped in 16 kills for the Rebels.
Julia Cruz had 18 digs, Abby Yuhan finished with 43 assists and 3 aces and Sarah Waite added 3 blocks for the Tigers.
Westridge will host Rio Hondo Prep on Tuesday at 5:30 and Flintridge Prep will travel to Burbank to take on Providence at 5:30.
Both matches Tuesday evening are Prep League contests.
