Brehaut prepped at Los Osos High in Rancho Cucamonga. He was a member of PrepStar Dream Team (No. 15 prospect) and a SuperPrep All-American. He was rated as a top ten quarterback by Rivals.com, Scout.com, and by ESPNU. In baseball, he earned MVP recognition and served as captain for two years.

His proudest moment as a Bruin was likely the Arizona State game in 2010. He was 33 for 56 for 321 yards throwing three touchdowns, and running for another. With this performance, he broke Troy Aikman’s record for passing attempts and completions for a single game.

Richard is a Senior Investment Associate with the James Group of Marcus & Millichap. He runs the Restaurant Division, and focuses on the acquisition and disposition of nationally recognized QSR and Fast-Casual real estate assets. Brehaut works with various franchisees, corporate operators and businesses to maximize value in the real estate portion of their holdings. He has underwritten and executed portfolio sale-leasebacks for a variety of corporate and franchisee clients, including those of Zaxby’s, Taco Bell, Hardee’s, Chik-Fil-A, Burger King, Panera, Churches Chicken and KFC.

Brehaut’s sister played volleyball at Biola University all four years. He lives in Santa Monica and offices in Encino.

Joining Brehaut on the podium, preceding his talk, is Chris Schmoke, Pasadena Polytechnic High head football coach. Schmoke is expected to bring a co-captain or two. Quarterbacks donate to the high school football program whose head coach speaks, and to the National Football Foundation.
