Currently a sportscaster for Fox Sports I, and former assistant to the coaching staff of the New England Patriots, as well as a former analyst for the NFL Network and sportswriter at NFL.com, Mike Lombardi will address Pasadena Quarterbacks at its regular Friday luncheon meeting on November 4.

This particular meeting will be at the Rose Bowl, in the Loge Lounge of the Terry Donahue Pavilion (on the 5th floor).  The venue is accessed by elevator.  Parking is immediately adjacent.

Lombardi also previously served as an NFL executive with the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and Oakland Raiders.

During his NFL team journey, he has been a scout, personnel director, head coach search committee member, and advised team ownership on all player contracts and salary cap issues.

Mike grew up in Ocean city, New Jersey, and played both football and baseball at Valley Forge Military Academy.  He played defensive lineman and long-snapper for Hofstra University from 1977-1981.  In 1981 he was hired as recruiting coordinator by Runnin’ Rebels head coach, Harvey Hyde.

He and wife Miller have two children.  He is not related to Green Bay Packers coaching legend Vince Lombardi.

Quarterbacks donate to the high school football program whose head coach speaks, and to the National Football Foundation.

The next Quarterbacks speaker, for Friday November 11 and back at the Mediterranean Room of Brookside Country Club, will be Josh Lewin, the new UCLA Bruin football and basketball announcer.

Quarterbacks (pasadenaquarterbacks.org) huddle this week at the Rose Bowl, and not at the regular Brookside Golf Club.  Members gather at 11:30 AM, with lunch served promptly at noon.  Speakers commence at about 12:10 PM.

Lunches are $25 for members and $30 for non-members.  The program can be monitored for $5.  For further information and reservations please contact Membership Chair Randy Boal at (818) 790-2241 or Club President, Bill Payne at (626) 252-9505 or bill.payne10@gmail.com.
