Accomplishment: Juan won all six of her playoff singles matches this week. The Rebels shocked many by defeating undefeated La Serna in the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs. Prep and La Serna tied 9-9, but the Rebels advanced on games, 79-67, and Juan’s 3-0 mark in that match was crucial. She went on to win all three of her matches in an 11-7 semifinal team loss at Thacher of Ojai. But with wins over Webb, JW North and La Serna, Juan and the Rebels did their school and their program proud.
