But it ended in forgettable fashion when the Rebels hosted top-seeded Mojave in the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals of 8-man football Friday night.
Mojave scored TD’s on 12 of its 16 drives and cruised, 91-46, ending the Prep season at 7-4.
Cameron Hill had 455 yards of total offense, including 8 TD’s.
Prep quarterback John Lytle completed 17 of 42 passes for 342 yards, including 5 TD passes.
Beau Detchemendy led the Rebels with 158 yards on six catches and three TD’s.
Kendall Kikkawa rushed for 65 yards on just six carries and a score.
Kikkawa also caught five passes for 77 yards and one TD.
Mojave’s Tyree Hendrix scored three times and gained 145 yards on 10 carries.
