As happy as Poly girls water polo coach Ryan Katsuyama is about the Panthers start to the 2016-17 season, even he couldn’t have predicted what has happened through the first 12 games.
The Panthers are 11-0 overall, and 5-0 in the Prep League.
Poly’s lone loss came on Dec. 10.
Bonita, ranked No. 7 in Division 2, defeated the Panthers, 16-7, in the Los Altos Tournament.
Freshman Talie Wilmans had led the way with a team-best 61 goals and Colleen Woo had 36.
Kate McInerny has 70 saves in goal for Poly.
Poly will travel to Chadwick today (Wednesday) at 3:45 as they look to stay perfect in Prep League play.
