Despite dropping its first game of the season last Friday, Flintridge Prep (6-1-1) is currently the top-ranked boys soccer team according to CIF in Division 6.
The Rebels have wins over McAuliffe, Milken, San Marino, Chadwick, Burbank and Alhambra.
Prep has outscored its opponents by a margin of 35-10.
Garrett Gaines leads the way with 9 goals, and Tim Treinen and Simon Siskel have 5 goals apiece.
Aidan Schrader and Zak Beshir have shared time in goal for Prep and have a combined 43 saves.
Chadwick will visit La Canada on Friday at 6:30 when they take on Prep at St. Francis High School under the lights.
Flintridge Prep’s girls are No. 8 in Division 3, and are 14-2-3 overall, and 3-0-1 in Prep League play.
The Rebels scoring attack is a three-headed monster.
Julia Gonzalez had scored 19 times, Helen Schaefer 15 and Mikaela Celeste had 14.
Prep’s girls next play this coming Saturday at Poly at 1 p.m. in a Prep League contest.
