Blair showed its true character Friday night.
A couple days after a disappointing loss to perennial Rio Hondo League champion La Canada, the Vikings showed their mettle in a 60-55 victory at San Marino.
Senior captain Jack Dakan looked every bit the leader he is, as the 5-foot-7 guard led Blair with 19 points.
Dakan made four 3-point baskets, including two in the decisive fourth quarter. He was also 3 for 3 from the free-throw line.
Dezmond Washington also came up clutch with 16 points.
Jordan Hall chipped in with 13, and Dallas Murray had 6.
Blair will host Monrovia Wednesday at 7, as Rio Hondo League play continues.
