Jacob Sattler’s first-half goal off an assist from Alejandro Lopez was enough to claim a 1-0 victory for the Minutemen at Whittier Christian on Thursday.
Josiah Rojas picked up his first shut out in goal for Maranatha, despite not having to block a single shot.
The win allowed Maranatha (3-0 in league) to keep pace with Cerritos Valley Christian (3-0 in league)
Maranatha will go to Valley Christian at 5:30 on Monday evening in a game that features the two undefeated Olympic League teams.
