Alverno Heights Academy and Flintridge Prep were locked in a 3-2 battle after four innings on Tuesday afternoon.
But the Jaguars went on to score a combined 10 runs in the fifth and sixth innings and cruised by the Rebels, 13-3.
Alex Barroso had a home run for Alverno, while Brianna Sanchez picked up the win.
Olivia Stevens is off to a great start at the plate for Prep.
In her first at-bat as a high school player last week, Stevens belted a 3-run home run.
Stevens collected her second home run of the season on Tuesday.
Maya Vasquez went 1 for 3 with two RBIs.
Therese Oshiro got the loss, but she struck out 7.
Alverno will travel to Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy today (Wednesday) at 3:30.
Flintridge Prep (1-2) will host Ramona Convent on Thursday at 3:30.
