Even the best of teams would have a difficult time persevering after handing its opponent 6 unearned runs.

That’s exactly what happened to Poly on Tuesday.

Paraclete defeated the Panthers, 6-3, in a game that saw Poly commit 5 errors.

Brennah Bronk went the first 5 innings and left the game in a 3-3 tie.

The sophomore pitcher allowed 3 hits and struck out 4 Spirits’ batters.

She also went 1 for 3 at the plate and drove in 3 runs.

Tara Adarkar had two hits and a run scored.

Vivian Wheeler gave up 3 runs (none earned) and picked up the loss for Poly.

The Panthers will travel to South Pasadena on Friday at 3:30.
