St. Francis is still looking for its first win of the season.

The Golden Knights fell to 0-7 this season after walking 12 batters against Damien on Friday night at Arcadia Park.

Damien defeated St. Francis, 10-4, despite the Golden Knights pitching staff allowing just four base hits.

Nolan Shwery had two hits for St. Francis.

The Golden Knights runs came via:

RBI for junior Aaron Treloar (two-out single in top of first inning).

RBI for junior Will Schmidt (sac fly in top of fourth).

RBI for senior Jacob Becthold (single in top of fourth).

RBI for sophomore Doyle Kane (fielder’s choice in top of fourth).

Connor Bartholomew went 2 for 3 and drove in three runs for the Spartans (3-4).

Cody Rawson walked and scored twice for Damien.

Kyle Hansen and Aaron McCraven each went 3 innings for the Spartans.

Hansen allowed no runs on two hits and McCraven surrendered one run on four hits.

Damien had five batters that drew at least two walks each from St. Francis pitching

St. Francis opens Mission League play Tuesday at Crespi at 3:30.
