After a 3-1 start to Mission League play, St. Francis has dropped three consecutive games.
Harvard-Westlake defeated the Golden Knights, 6-1, Monday in the first of three this week.
Evan Tontini picked up the loss after going four innings and allowing six runs (four earned) on six hits and he struck out four.
JP Caire went two scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out three.
Niko Khoury went 2 for 3 and drove in St. Francis’ only run of the game.
Doyle Kane also had two hits for the Golden Knights.
St. Francis will take on Harvard-Westlake again tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Glendale Sports Complex at 3:30.
League wins are becoming increasingly significant if the Golden Knights are to make a postseason appearance.
