St. Francis’ offense has been on life support over the past two weeks or so.

The Golden Knights were 0-5 over that time and had scored just one run in those 35 innings.

Aaron Treloar decided he had seen enough, and the junior had three hits and drove in three runs.

St. Francis used a 10-hit attack to defeat Serra, 9-3, on Saturday, at Cerritos Valley Christian in a St. Paul Tournament game.

Niko Khoury drove in a run and had two hits.

Brandon Lewis had a solo home run and the senior leads SF with a .395 batting average and an on-base percentage of .603.

Evan Tontini got the win after going the first 3 1/3 innings, and allowing three runs on five hits. He walked two and struck out four.

JP Caire and Ryan DeVore combined to go the final 3 2/3 inning and they didn’t allow a run and only surrendered one hit.

Caire struck out three batters in 2 2/3 innings and DeVore fanned one in one inning.

St. Francis (4-13) will play Monday at Valley Christian again, as they face off with Banning (11-10) at 3:30.
