St. Francis seems to get their wins in bunches.
After starting the season 0-7, they won the next 3 of 4.
The Golden Knights lost 5 straight heading into the St. Paul Tournament, and had scored just one run in those five games.
But after Monday’s 5-4, walk-off victory over Banning, they are on a two-game win streak and have scored 14 runs in those two games.
St. Francis finds itself in the semifinals of the St. Paul Tournament this morning (Tuesday) when they take on Downey at Downey at 9:30 a.m.
Brandon Lewis has led the offense all season offensive, and his walk-off base hit over the right-fielders head in the seventh inning earned the Golden Knights an important victory.
Aaron Treloar was huge as well, going 2 for 3 with three runs batted in.
Christian Muro had three hits and scored three runs for St. Francis.
JP Claire picked up the win after going the final inning.
Chris Stamos went four scoreless and hitless innings. He walked five and struck out two.
