After a terrible start to the season, Maranatha has won four of its last five matches.
And Jesse Elrod, who helped Maranatha to the CIF finals in basketball continues to lead the way.
Elrod had 15 kills, 14 digs and 3 blocks, as Maranatha defeated Heritage Christian by scores of 26-24, 25-20, and 25-20.
Mason Swinnie added 6 kills, 16 digs and 2 blocks.
Sean Espinosa had 9 kills, 8 digs and 3 blocks.
Josiah Rojas added 25 assists and 6 digs.
Maranatha will travel to Valley Christian today (Thursday) at 5:15.
