Jeff Daley finished off a solid week for La Salle.

The junior threw four scoreless innings, and led the Lancers to an 8-1 victory over West Torrance.

La Salle swept St. Paul this week and then picked up a Saturday win, before heading into next week’s two-game series with first-place Bishop Amat.

Daley scattered six hits, walked one batter and struck out one.

He improved to 3-0 this season.

Sammy Martinez continues to impress.

The senior DH had two more hits on Saturday, with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs.

Ethan Patrick went 3 for 4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored.

Henry Kavanaugh had two hits, and scored a run.

Victor Scalzo went 2 for 3 with a run scored.

Brennan Mace added one hit and drove in two runs.
