In most of their losses this season, St. Francis scored no more than a couple runs.
But on Tuesday, the Golden Knights put up five runs and banged out eight hits.
It was a six-run fifth inning that did in the Golden Knights, as Loyola defeated St. Francis, 11-5.
Christian Muro went 1 for 3 with two RBIs.
Brandon Lewis had one hit and drove in one run.
Evan Tontini picked up the loss after allowing six runs (three earned) on five hits.
Tontini walked one and struck out three.
Ryan DeVore went the final 1 2/3 innings, and surrendered five runs (three earned) on five hits.
St. Francis will host Loyola today (Wednesday) at the Glendale Sports Complex at 3:30.
