Flintridge Prep paced the Pasadena area in wins all season.
The Rebels won their fifth consecutive Prep League title and headed into the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs on a solid note.
But Oxnard came in and defeated the Rebels in five sets.
The Yellowjackets (14-16-2) took out Flintridge Prep (21-7) by scores of 25-18, 18-25, 21-25, 25-20 and 15-5.
AJ Nicassio had 18 kills, 4 aces and 21 digs.
Jonny Samuels added 16 kills.
Jake Althouse had 7 blocks.
