It’s been quite a struggle for the La Salle girls golf team lately.
The Lancers have dropped several matches by double digit strokes.
But that all changed on Tuesday when the Lancers defeated Pomona Catholic.
La Salle earned a 298-325 Del Rey League victory over the Pacers.
Makenna Hicks continues to lead the way for coach Steve Haderlein.
Hicks’ team-low 48 was 14 strokes better than the next closest Lancers player.
Ashley Mayo and Ahtziri Rios-Aguirre both shot 62.
Josephine Lo and Collette Allen both finished with a 63 to round out the Lancers’ top 5 placers on Tuesday.
