It took everything St. Francis had to earn their first Mission League victory of the year.
The Golden Knights clutched up in the fourth quarter and held off Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks, 67-65, on Wednesday evening.
Andre Henry led the way with a team-high 19 points, and hit all 9 of his free-throw attempts.
Henry had 6 fourth quarter points, including a 4 of 4 effort from the free-throw line.
Dennis Flowers III added 16 points, which included three 3-point baskets.
Javon Jones finished with 15 points, and he too had 6 fourth-quarter points.
Lucas Shin had 8 and Matthew Molina finished with 6 points.
Shin made a pair of 3-point shots.
Notre Dame’s Ryan Engs led all scorers with 22 points.
St. Francis will travel to Harvard-Westlake on Friday at 7.
