On Senior Day, the Minutemen started off sluggishly against Valley Christian but prevailed, 14-4.

Maranatha High School (MHS) was on the verge of splitting the first round 3-3 before the senior tandem of Tony Gao and Ben Smith came back from an early deficit to win 7-5. From there, MHS rolled on to win 10 of the final 12 sets. Senior Billy Sun defeated Valley’s #2 singles player 6-3 in his final career home match.

With the win, MHS (12-2, 7-0) clinched their sixth straight Olympic league title and 48th consecutive league win. They close out the regular season on Thursday against Fairmont Prep.
